Azucena starts to lose all faith because she can feel her body weakening and she is in a lot if pain. When the pump arrived though, Azucena had given up her hope completely. In Grahams newspaper article, hopelessness is expressed through the thirty-four year old man, Efrain Gomez Primo. He was stuck under his collapsed house. His brother told him not to worry and that help was on the way but he never returned. Then a Civil Defense worker saw him but lacked the tools needed and he left. The man started losing hope. When help actually arrived and stayed to help, he said he felt half dead and said he was having trouble breathing. He thought he was going to die. The rescuers were able to save him from the rubble. The Conflict Between The Jews And The Middle East

Peace is a blessing that is often taken for granted. Unfortunately, The conflict between the Jews and Palestinians still has not reached this peace. this is due to many factors. Ever since the the 1948 war, acts of terrorism and destruction have happened on both sides. This war left the Palestinians with no homeland, creating the Palestinian Refugee problem. This and other factors (such as the Peel Commission), left the Palestinians distraught and Angry. Suicide bombing played a major role in these acts of revenge, the first being in 2001. Lastly the lack of separation between church and state in Israel hinders compromise greatly. Peace in the middle east will never be reached if these issues, and many more, cannot be resolved in a way that pleases both parties The Palestinian conflict has gone on for many years. What has occurred is the conflict within politics. Once again, the lack of separation between church and state has caused unnecessary problems.
